Initially designed for the A15 / M16 rifles family, every feature of the Trijicon 4x32 ACOG scope mechanical and optical design was chosen for a single purpose - to provide increased hit potential in all lighting conditions. The exterior of the Trijicon 4x32 ACOG Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight - TA01 with AR15/M16 BASE is a forged aluminum body (aircraft strength 7075 alloy) which is precision machined to exacting tolerances then hard-anodized. Trijicon 4x32mm ACOG sight is internally-adjustable, compact telescopic sights that use tritium illuminated reticles for target acquisition in all light conditions - even total darkness. The ATN PS22 uses the latest in 2nd and 3rd generation image intensifier tube technology for outstanding resolution and performance.
